Tweety Kid Care is a place where your little one can learn and acquire a strong sense of self! Our daycare/preschool setting in a home-like environment is one of the best alternatives for working parents! This is a “home away from home” providing children with “siblings“ of all ages to play, socialize, and learn from!
We truly believe that children learn best in an environment that encourages exploration, provides nurturing supportive relationships, adapt to each individual child’s needs, and learning styles and offers many opportunities for play!
Our philosophy is to promote a safe and fun environment where each child can grow at his/her own pace. We will strive to help you meet the needs of your child in all aspects including, but not limited to, social ,emotional, physical and intellectual development! We believe children are capable, caring, creative individuals. Our hope is that everyone who comes in contact with our program shares a common understanding of the importance of the fist 5 years in a child’ life! We view children as active participants in the process of growing and learning! Our goal in providing quality child care for your child is to create a safe, comfortable, fun, and loving environment!
About the Owner
Gabi has been immersed in the child education field since 1992 when she first worked as a teacher. She found herself working with children as a preschool and elementary school teacher for 14 years. As a young teenager she pursued her education obtaining an BA in Child Education and Psychology. In 2007 she started a daycare and preschool program in a home based environment.
Gabi is a reflective, caring, imaginative, lifelong learner and committed to offering children the best environment possible and expose them to experiences of life that will shape them into independent and resilient little human beings. She is passionate, dedicated individual who is active in a wide range of professional-developmental activities and personal interests! Her mission is to bring quality back to the families which drives her to create a very diversified program that serves children from birth to preschool years!
Infant Program
6 - 12 Months Old
We make sure children feel safe and comfortable. We create close, trusting relationships with infants and families. We understand how unique your child and family are, and we respect every family’ culture.
The program is designed to stimulate infants cognitively through individual daily routines including physical development and health, language and literacy, and social-emotional learning! We offer the opportunity for your child to learn through relationship with caring adult, active hands-on play, by connecting new ides to what babies already know and can do, by exploring and making sense of their world!
The program covers: diapering, bottle feeding, solid food, quiet rooms for napping, outdoor time, appropriate toys and infinite possibilities to explore and learn!
Toddler Program
1 - 2 Years Old
The toddler program is a play based program that focuses on social-emotional development and is designed to ensure a successful transition to school setting!
The curriculum is designed to be an interactive experience between the classroom, teacher, and children! The children will learn to count, formulate sentences, discover their artistic and musical abilities, differentiate between their emotions, and learn about the world around them.
Main focus: positive relationships between teacher and children, time for children to explore and play, consistent schedule and routines, circle time, arts and crafts, outdoor play, positive self-esteem and collaboration, focus on academics through play, story time, music program, assistance with the potty training , napping, learning and using good manners , cooking sessions.
We offer home cooked meals(breakfast, 2 snacks,and lunch), all organic!
All the supplies for daily activities are provided.
Preschool Program
2+ Years Old
The preschool program focuses on all areas of learning:physical, social-emotional, language and literacy, thinking or cognitive skills.
We help your children use their growing communication skills to learn new concepts. Thinking or cognitive skills develop as children learn to think more complexly, make decisions, and solve problems. The curriculum is designed based on the research that proves children learn best through repetition and practice.
We offer a consistent schedule and routines, that includes a weekly theme, circle time, art, music, pretend play, learning situations, lots of exposure to literacy, supplies for art work, toys , puzzles and games, science experiments, opportunities to explore and discover how the world function,
We provide breakfast, 2 snacks and lunch(home cooked and organic)!
What children learn: numbers, counting, pre-math skills, shapes, colors, alphabet, spelling names and short words, social skills and independence, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, manners and hygiene!
